On October 11, 2024, Leslie “Hope” Houston was found unresponsive in her home—just 24 hours after her daughter, Megan Tomlinson, had requested a domestic violence wellness check. Six days later, she was taken off life support. Her cause of death was ruled an intracranial hemorrhage. The manner of death: undetermined. Investigators closed the case—but Megan wasn’t convinced. She took matters into her own hands and solved her mother’s murder.

Megan will be joined by Nichole Schmidt, mother of Gabby Petito, for a powerful and deeply personal conversation. Together, they’ll take attendees inside Megan’s investigation, share critical warning signs of domestic violence for both loved ones and law enforcement, and explore how, even in the face of unimaginable loss, a path forward—and a sense of purpose—can emerge.

Criminal investigator and Profiling Evil podcast host Mike King will bring one of the most thought-provoking sessions of the weekend to Las Vegas. What if the most dangerous crimes don't start with violence, but with influence? King will expose the psychological control playbook used by cult leaders, political movements, corporations, and families alike — breaking down how coercive control hides in plain sight, disguised as protection, cloaked in paperwork, built through isolation.

What happens when someone vanishes, there's no body, no crime scene, and no clear cause of death — yet investigators are convinced it's murder? Tad DiBiase, one of the nation’s leading experts on “no body” homicide cases, will pull back the curtain on some of the most complex cases in the criminal justice system, revealing how prosecutors build a murder case without remains and the courtroom strategies that turn circumstantial evidence into a conviction beyond a reasonable doubt.

When a loved one disappears, the silence can be deafening. At CC26, Brittany Wallace’s father, Greg Wallace, will join Hide and Seek host James Baysinger and Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Tad DiBiase for a powerful, deeply personal conversation. Together, they’ll explore the emotional toll on families, the investigative roadblocks, and the legal strategy behind pursuing justice when no body is ever found. It will be a moving, behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to keep a case alive—and what can still be proven.

For more than 60 years, one question has gripped investigators and fascinated the world: did anyone actually escape from Alcatraz? On the night of June 11, 1962, Frank Morris and brothers John and Clarence Anglin carried out one of the most daring prison breaks in American history—and then vanished. Their bodies were never found, and newly revealed FBI files and fresh forensic analysis suggest the story may not be over.

At CC26, Sheryl “Mac” McCollum will be joined by Ken Widner, nephew of the Anglin brothers, along with producers Rob and Cindy Dorfmann, former U.S. Marshal Lenny DePaul, and retired FBI agent Stewart Fillmore to take attendees inside the legendary escape and the enduring mystery of what may have happened after the men slipped into the darkness of San Francisco Bay.

Reminder: Guest and creator announcements will continue regularly, and the official CC26 schedule will be released approximately 30 days before we get to Las Vegas.
